Background of the visiting
Mr. Hu, an Australian stone processing customer, currently operates a GMM 5‑axis bridge cutting machine and a 3‑axis machining center in his factory. While these machines have served him well, he has been looking to further improve production efficiency by adding a new sawjet to his workshop.
Earlier this year, our technical team visited several long‑term customers in the Melbourne area who had purchased our 5‑axis bridge cutting machines(Model: zlbs-600cnc/5+1a). The goal was to check on machine performance, provide maintenance advice, and ensure they were getting the most out of our equipment. During that trip, we learned that Mr. Hu's factory was also in the Melbourne region. We cordially invited him to join us on a visit to one of our existing customers. There, he witnessed firsthand the cutting quality, stability, and efficiency of our 5‑axis bridge cutting machine. He was truly impressed by the machine's performance and build quality.

Inspired by what he saw, Mr. Hu decided to make time for a factory tour at ZhongLi Machinery, where he could see our sawjet in action and conduct on‑site testing.
In addition to the sawjet, Mr. Hu also expressed strong interest in our stone scanner. In particular, he was excited about the seamless integration between the stone scanner and the sawjet system. This combination enables multi‑slab veining alignment (bookmatching) and pre‑layout functions, which greatly improve slab utilization and processing efficiency.
The Visit to ZhongLi Machinery
Last week, Mr. Hu finally arrived at our factory. From the moment he stepped into our facility, he was amazed by the scale of our operations, the level of organization, and the advanced technology we have integrated into our production lines.
Our team prepared a full live demonstration of the slab processing workflow:
Scanning – The stone slab was first scanned using our high‑precision stone scanner, capturing all natural veining and color details.
Pre‑layout & file generation – The scanned data was processed in our veining alignment software, where we created a pre‑layout, matched veining patterns, and generated the machining file.
Path generation – The file was then imported into the sawjet control system, which automatically generated the optimized cutting path.
On‑site cutting – Finally, the sawjet performed the actual cutting, demonstrating its speed, accuracy, and smooth operation.
During the demonstration, Mr. Hu raised a specific technical requirement regarding the machine's processing current. Our engineers listened carefully and immediately offered a customized solution tailored to his power conditions and material types. Mr. Hu appreciated this proactive approach.
At the end of the demonstration, Mr. Hu expressed his strong satisfaction with our sawjet. He specifically praised:
The overall build quality and structural rigidity
The corrosion protection – our hot‑dip galvanized coating on both interior and exterior surfaces
The smooth and stable operation even under load
The user‑friendly interface and easy operation
He was also impressed by how well the sawjet and stone scanner worked together as an integrated system. As a result, he decided to accelerate the purchasing process and move forward with the order sooner than originally planned.
