About CounterTops
Stone countertops have become a core element of modern kitchen and bathroom design, combining practicality and aesthetics. The industry utilizes a wide variety of materials, including:
Natural Stone: Granite (renowned for its durability and unique textures), marble (highly prized for its elegant grain), quartzite (combining natural beauty with the durability of quartz), soapstone (popular for its heat resistance), and limestone (offering a soft, rustic look).
Artificial Materials: Quartz countertops (combining natural quartz with polymers for exceptional durability), ceramic tiles (increasingly popular for their versatility and slim profile), and solid finishes (acrylic-based products that allow for seamless integration).
The North American (especially the US and Canada), Western European (led by Germany, Italy, and the UK), and Australian markets are the strongest, while Asian markets such as China, India, and Southeast Asia are also growing, with middle-class consumers in these regions investing in high-end home renovations.

Limitations of Countertop Cutting by Traditional Tools
Traditional processing equipment includes: simple bridge cutters (for straight-line cutting only), handheld trimmers (for edge trimming and drilling), etc.
- Processing Flow:
1. Manually select boards and mark the layout.
2. Perform straight-line cutting using a basic bridge cutter.
3. Drill holes separately to install faucets and sinks.
4. Trial assembly and final adjustments.
Main Limitations of Traditional Processes:
1. Significant material waste: Due to low material routing efficiency and human error, material loss can reach 20-30%.
2. Labor-intensive: Making one countertop requires 3-4 skilled workers.
3. Poor consistency: Human error leads to inaccurate measurements and assembly problems.
4. Limited design capabilities: Unable to create complex curves, angles, and fine cuts.
5. Long production cycle: Complex designs require 2-3 days to produce.
6. Safety hazards: Injuries from dust inhalation, blade cuts, and handling heavy objects.
The 5-Axis CNC Bridge Saw: The Ideal Solution for Countertop Cutting
The 5 Axis CNC Bridge Saw represents a leap forward in countertop cutting, integrating multiple functions into a single precision system.
Core Components and Functions:
1. Milling Cutter: High-speed spindle (typically 5.5kW-7.5kW) allows milling of faucet holes, sink cuts, drainage channels, and decorative edges without tool changes.
2. Multi-position Clamping: A set of rotary cylinders securely clamps the workpiece during milling operations, ensuring absolute stability and precision.
3. Advanced Control System: The industrial computer directly receives .dxf files from CAD software or laser measurement systems and converts digital designs into precise cutting paths.
4. Vision Optimization: An integrated high-definition camera system provides real-time sheet metal imaging and photo layout capabilities for optimal material utilization.
5. Tabletop Size: 3500×2000mm or 3700x2300mm or customized size.
6. Control System: CNC with a clear interface, easy to operate.
Advantages of 5-axis CNC Bridge Saw:
1. Increased Production Efficiency: Reduced machining time, continuous operation: Enables 24/7 production with minimal human intervention.
2. Optimized Material Costs: Automatic layout optimization reduces waste.
3. Precise Cutting: Accurate measurement prevents material waste caused by cutting errors.
4. Reduced Labor: A single operator can perform tasks that previously required 3-4 skilled technicians, reducing the need for experienced machining staff.
5. Complex Project Completion: Ability to handle complex edge contours, curved profiles, and custom cuts.
6. Consistent Quality: Ensures design consistency across multiple installation projects.

How to cut countertops with 5 Axis CNC Bridge Saw?
Cutting Steps:
1. The worktable filp 85 degree for easy loading slabs
2. Use"Camera" to catch the image of the worktable and the slab
3. Import .dxf file design of Countertopsfrom CAD or from Template laser measuring gauge
4. Move design photo on suitable possition on the slab to utilize material use.
5. Generate Cuttng paths& Cutting Steps with simple click on the correspondent icon
6. Start fully automatic cutting, the milling cutter will mill out the faucet hole, basin hole, and the machine will automatically change milling cutter processing to blade processing. If there's paths conflicts, the suction cups will automatically move slab pieces aside, and continue processing.
